Raging Bull
This is a 3” cross-cut of an elephant tusk. I honor the
spirit of the elephant on this piece, showing the strength of
this magnificent animal as he comes towards the viewer. I would
like to take this opportunity to mention that I do not take the
use of ivory for granted. I choose to use it as my canvas for
many reasons. I am inspired by the energy that I feel holding
and working in this spirit-filled material. I support conservation,
preservation, and legal efforts to maintain the health and future
of wild elephants. |
