Etching Book
Each page of this book is only 1 ½” x 2 ¾”.
This project was started with an antique-store-find; a small
brass book stand. My husband Mark made the mammoth ivory book
and a leather binding. The hard part was deciding what to put
on the pages. I challenged myself with these well know Renaissance
engravers. Not knowing who may buy it, this was a piece that
I just wanted to make. I am pleased that a librarian now has
it in her collection. |
